Great photo essay, yeah!
I wonder if, like, there are any other countries outside Europe, like, that have anything similar? Street art, pavement? It would be cool to compare. Maybe Africa?
The only thing I can think of is a Tibetan sand mandala. The monks make them and then destroy pretty soon after they are finished.
