Every year, my family holds a family reunion and most years it is held in Branson, Missouri. Branson has tons of shows and other activities to do. My favorite thing is to go to the Butterfly Palace. The facility does not breed butterflies. The Butterfly Palace just houses them and you are given strict instructions on how to behave and you are inspected on the way out to make sure the butterflies aren’t trying to escape. Hope you enjoy this butterfly photo essay.
Have you been to the Butterfly Palace in Branson, Missouri? Where else have you seen butterfly exhibits?

I love butterfly sanctuary places like this! I’m always terrified that I’m going to step on one though! Great pictures!
I was so afraid too! I walked really slowly.
Dude, you had me at butterfly. I so miss Butterfly World in Edinburgh. But I must see this place, too. Amazing photos.
Haha! I need to go this Butterfly World you speak of. Sounds amazing. Thanks!
I love the black butterflies, not an easy colour to capture during daylight hours! Those places are unique to each country as we have found many different varieties in the UK, Singapore and one in New Zealand. That we both have enjoyed visiting
The big one stayed still for a long time so he made it easy. I want to find some more to see around the world.
What an amazing place!!! Fantastic photos!
Isn’t it! Thank you!
I have been to a butterfly place like this before when I was very young….I hated it and now I have a fear of butterflies ?. . They are pretty to look at on a screen though, great shots ?
Oh no! Did something happen while you were there? Thanks!
Stunning photos!
Thank you!
Gorgeous! My family is planning a camping trip to Branson in the near future. I’ll definitely want to experience the Butterfly Palace.
I have more Branson tips coming on Monday! The Butterfly Palace is my favorite though.
Butterflies are my favorite insects! Thanks for sharing your awesome photos with us!
I am so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Thanks for taking us on the Branson butterfly tour. Reminds me of a similar setting in Vienna. Inside, the humid air and lush (imported) rainforest with gentle waterfalls immediately transported us away from the bustling city center outside. At one point, probably because my wife and I were wearing yellow and blue hoodies, several enormous butterflies perched on us until we were lightly coated in dusty colorful wings. Felt like a fairytale.
You are welcome! That’s exactly what it was like. Very humid! One landed on my hair.
Such beautiful butterflies! I didn’t know this was in Branson. I have only been there once, but I loved it! Have you ever been to the Sight and Sound Theater there? They perform only Christian plays. When we went, they were performing Jonah, and I kid you not, it was better than any Broadway show I have ever been to!
My parents might have. I don’t go much anymore. Branson has great shows.
Beautiful photos Tiffany! I went to the Butterfly Farm in Stratford-upon-Avon a couple of years ago for the first time and it was wonderful! Apart from the fact that the humidity steamed up my glasses and my camera, and my hair got bigger and bigger….
Thank you! I may have to go up there while I am in London. Thanks for the tip. Haha!
I’ve not heard of a butterfly palace before. How lovely! And I thought Branson was only known for its shows and country music.
I think that’s why I like it. It’s different.
These photos are stunning Tiffany!
You must have had so much fun attempting to capture them as they flutter around!
Thank you! It was fun.
